Running your own business gives you the flexibility you need to fit in with your family commitments, but it is not a free ride. Yes you might be able to set up working from home, and you are in control of your own destiny, but it is also your responsibility to make the business work and grow and that, coupled with the responsibilities of running a home and organising a family, can be a difficult juggling act.
